About The Captain
Angler’s Edge Fishing Charters is owned and run by Mike Attard from Toronto, Ontario. Mike is a lifetime fisherman with more than 10 years of guiding experience. Mike has been fishing since he was four years old. As he got older he spent countless hours in the urban area, fishing for anything that would bite, growing a passion for Great Lakes salmon and steelhead fishing. Taking advantage of the location, he had lines in the water whenever he could.
Mike is a sport fisherman and has a conservation-minded attitude to protect and take extra care of our resources. He graduated from the fish and wildlife program at Fleming College to get a greater understanding of the outside ecosystem.
For over a decade he has been guiding for several fish species all over Canada. In Ontario, British Columbia, and remote regions of the Northwest Territories, where he has fished for trophy pike, lake trout walleye, and grayling. In British Columbia he was chasing chinook, coho salmon and halibut all down the west coast.
Licenses & Insurance
Captain Mike and his boat are fully licensed and insured. Mike possesses all of the Transport Canada appoved certifications, which ensures his vessel complies with government safety and vessel operation regulations. We are registered with the Ontario Sportfishing Guides Association.
The Legendary Grady White
About The Boat
Come fish aboard a legendary Grady White. The Gulf Stream with impressive 9.5″ beam, and powered by twin 150 horsepower Yamaha four strokes for added stability and reliability. The vessel has been equipped with the latest electronics and all top end fishing gear and tackle.
The boat is located at Bluffer’s Park Marina in Toronto, Ontario (Scarborough area). The address is 7 Brimley Road South, Scarborough, ON.
Hours & Scheduling
Morning Trip: 6am-11am
Afternoon Trip: 4pm-9pm
For times other than our above trip times please contact us.
We Supply
- Rods, tackle, bait and all other gear needed.
- Water & soft drinks
- Washroom on board
Rates
(Up to 3 people: $650/5 hour trip, tax included.
4-5 people: $800/ 5 hour trip, tax included.
If your group is larger than 4-5 people, we can arrange another boat and Captain. We will be in constant contact and will be fishing in the same area.
